Miho Nishizumi transfers to Oarai Girls High School, a campus built on a giant aircraft carrier, hoping to leave tanks behind, only to be recruited into its fledgling team, which soon learns it must win the national tournament to keep the school open. Thrilling battles, lovingly detailed tanks and a close knit group of friends have kept the series rolling for more than a decade.
