What is Overlord about?

In the year 2138, the popular game YGGDRASIL took the gaming community by storm. Within it, the powerful guild organization Ainz Ooal Gown was run by 41 players of Heteromorphic races who together built the most difficult dungeon known as the Great Tomb of Nazarick. After the game shut down, however, Momonga still found himself within the familiar surroundings of the Tomb as his Overlord avatar. Surrounded by the now conscious NPCs, he realizes that he has been Isekai'd and is overcome with curiosity about his predicament. Thus began his journey to unravel the mystery of the new world's magical norms and rules, particularly those that are different from YGGDRASIL...
